ALVARA and FID SOFTWARE Are Becoming YUVENDA Enterprise Solutions

Leipzig/Offenburg, August 7, 2026: After a year of close collaboration within the YUVENDA Group, ALVARA Digital Solutions and FID SOFTWARE are taking the next step. Software for cash management and cash-in-transit logistics, loss prevention and fraud management, audit and branch auditing, and supplier agreements and rebates will now come from a single provider. For customers, all solutions, contracts, and points of contact remain unchanged.
Zusammenschluss und gemeinsame Perspektive
What connects ALVARA and FID goes deeper than their years of experience in their respective markets. Both companies frequently serve the same customer base, supporting different but closely related processes in chain retail.
The merger brings these strengths together under one roof. Cash management and cash-in-transit logistics, store security and auditing, and central purchasing and control processes will now be developed jointly. Step by step, this creates a closely aligned solution portfolio, with short lines of communication between teams and a shared strategic direction.

Robert Wolf, Managing Director, YUVENDA Enterprise Solutions GmbH
“With YUVENDA Enterprise Solutions, we're bringing together capabilities that naturally belong together in chain retail: cash processes, store security, auditing, and the control of central retail processes. For our customers, this creates a step-by-step, more closely connected solution portfolio: proven products, greater development capacity, and a shared vision.”
What Changes for Customers
For customers of both companies, continuity in day-to-day operations comes first. Every existing product, from Interactive Cash Control, Pecunia, Smart Safe Monitoring, and MünzMarktplatz to AUDIT System, Sherlock, CashControl, and WIZARD, will continue to run reliably and be developed further.
Existing contracts and agreed terms remain valid. The familiar points of contact in sales, project management, and support, as well as current office locations, also remain unchanged.
What's new is the combined strength behind these solutions. Pooled expertise and development resources create new opportunities to advance products with purpose, expand integrations, and address customer needs across multiple process areas. Over time, the solutions from both companies will become even more closely aligned.

Steven Schwarznau, Managing Director, YUVENDA Enterprise Solutions GmbH
“Proven solutions, existing contracts, and familiar points of contact remain unchanged. What's new is the combined strength behind them: more development capacity, a broader solution portfolio, and closer integration of our expertise.”
A Portfolio for Core Processes in Chain Retail
Under the YUVENDA Enterprise Solutions brand, a combined portfolio is taking shape for core operational and administrative processes in chain retail. This includes the management of cash and cash-in-transit logistics, store security and theft management, auditing and branch review, and the management of rebates and other purchasing processes.
More than 200 companies across retail, cash logistics, and financial services already rely on ALVARA and FID solutions today, including over 65 retail companies with a combined total of more than 100,000 stores across 35 countries.
The merger lays the groundwork for aligning these solutions even more closely going forward. This isn't about replacing proven systems overnight. It's about their continuous development and a meaningful connection of data, functions, and processes.
YUVENDA Enterprise Solutions GmbH develops software for cash management and cash-in-transit logistics, as well as for store security and auditing. The company was formed through the merger of ALVARA Digital Solutions (founded 1996, Leipzig) and FID SOFTWARE GmbH (founded 1999, Offenburg) and employs 50 people across four locations in Germany and France.
